Welcome to the English for Intermediate Students course!
I am a passionate teacher and I love to encourage my students to find similar enjoyment and inspiration in learning English. This course will enable students to enhance and acquire English language skills in reading writing, listening, and speaking. Besides, it supports each skills-based lesson with speaking activities designed to allow students to acquire and practice vocabulary and grammar. Also, it will provide students with the confidence to communicate in English in a variety of different settings, such as social, professional, and academic.
The course is aimed at students from different majors with an intermediate level of English wishing to advance their language skills to an upper-intermediate level.
- Write different types of formal and informal texts, including reports, reviews, complaints and more.
- Write simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest
- Enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar, of personal interest or pertinent to everyday life (e.g. family, hobbies, work, travel and current events)
- Connect phrases in a simple way in order to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions
- Through listening, understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Enhance your vocabulary and grammar and better understand how to use verbal tenses in context.
